Into The Night Sky

Luminous was the midnight sky,
Echoes of moon shadows still dance.
Meandering star dust glitters,
Primordial heavenly bodies glow.

Light-years to travel in distance,
Earth to be warmed by its sun.
Magnificent in its blazing wonders,
Picturesque as it rises and sets.

Lunar phases mark monthly arrivals,
Eclipses to amaze the shielded eye.
Moon of harvest in autumn sky high,
Pulls at the ebb and flow of tides.

Lustrous diamond like sparkles
Embellish the endless black vastness.
Myriads of stars light the darkness
Pulsating light to guide our way.
