Searching The Sky

Oh stardust glimmer, the moon has risen,
adrift in all time and space.
In midnight thoughts within darkened prison,
my past and present embrace.

Vapor trails flickering past in the sky,
shooting stars seen descending.
Leaving me breathless as eyes mesmerise,
amid a child-like pretending.

As showering moonbeams dance among sprite,
beneath God's heavenly grace.
Astonishing view, cascading twilight ,
creations come face to face.

Stellar the nova which bursts into bloom,
beyond all comprehension.
Adorn the sky as the dusk comes to loom,
hang in quiet suspension.

Anticipation towards skyward incline.
my eyes seek my destiny.
Come dance under the stars, lose all repine,
let two souls wander carefree.
