then the words oft spoken by wiser men.
For fools and wisemen bleed alike.
he too sheds tears within his loneliness.
Wanting to believe they may seem the fool,
yet it is for love that they play the part.
To belong they hide in their broken dreams,
a prisoner of their own heart and desires.
Jesters with phoney smiles and laughter,
masquerading, playing their part so well.
As still waters run deep and unassuming,
so it is with the fool beneath their smiles.
Like the eye of a hurricane quiet and staid,
unnoticed and obscure mid raging storms.
A smile for a shield, yet he is dying inside,
for a fool, fools everyone but himself....
