Canvas mixture of blacks and blues,
create for me purplish hues.
Draw upon imagination,
soft strokes of mind's contemplation.

Wayward visions of yesterday,
reflective colors pass my way.
Thoughts intense from wood pallete,
now created in my mind set.

Immersed visions of retrospect,
beneath the layers you can detect.
Some somberness and gaiety,
lifes canvas and what dwells in me.

Purple is neither this nor that,
sweet lilacs, life's bruised combat.
Colors in such combinations,
have meaning and inclination.

Eyes cast upon purple shade,
as undertones begin to fade.
Life's mysteries now submerged,
through artist's strokes has emmerged.
