Dear JB Family, Thanks for your suggestions.....
I read each post and yes ... we are not comparing "janubaba forum" with any other forum.... we want to do things on our own with consent of JB members.
as far as I noticed
1. Everyone is concerned abt slow speed 2. Big signatures can capture whole page so we can't see the actual post. 3. Signatures slow down Page Loading. 4. annoying members who got "dial up Internet".
so moral of this ....
We are requesting members to remove all pictures from their signatures with in one week. (dead line 1st May 08).
Signatures only with "TEXT" are allowed with emoticons
hopefully everyone will co-operate us to remove "Pictures / Animations" from Signatures or We'll help rest of them after 1st May 2008.

..some moderators told me that links are not allowed in the forum..so i go and check in the rules and regulations topic and it states..
12.) Members Cant Advertise their Sites URL's
Entertainment and knowledge base URLs can only be allowed under the directions of management.
Advertisment of any URL/contact information/email ID's via SIGNATURES/TOPICS/PICTURES/Private Message - PM is not allowed. NO PERSONAL/COMMERCIAL ADVERTISEMENT IS ALLOWED ON THIS FORUM, ID WILL BE DELETED IMMIDEATELY
the rule clearly states that entertainment and knowledge based url's can be allowed.. i was not advertising my or any site, personal information or email addresses.. then why am i being stopped?..

Yes, rules are clear.... Links are allowed (entertainment/knowledge base) BUT under the direction of management.
Hopefully you'll revise the rule by focusing on BOLD FONT

no not brother..its sister..
sooo u mean the management can stop members from posting entertainment based links without giving any reason??
because the moderators that were stopping me did not give me any directions as to wat kind of videos i can post or whether the videos i did post violate the rules..
i think u need to look over this rule or expand it becasue its kinda confusing..
i wasnt given any direction rather i was being stopped without any reason..

Global or Forum Announcements will be under control of management. Birthday topics will be sticky for only 3 days. Knowledge base/sharing/poetry topics will be sticky for 5 days until unless they r not updated! All other topics will be sticky for 7 days maximum.
