DOSTI mausam nahi,

ke apni muddat poori karay aur

rukhsat ho jaye,

DOSTI sawan nahi,

ke toot kar barsay aur tham jaye,

DOSTI aag nahi,

ke sulge bharke aur bujh jaye,

DOSTI aftab nahi,

ke chamkey aur doob jaye,

DOSTI phool nahi,

ke khiley aur phir murjha jaye,

DOSTI to saans hai jo chaley to sab kuch

toot jaye to kuchh bhi nahi...
