Living a life of indecision,
seeking out a path of revision.
Lost sunshine, cringes now remain,
torrents of tears mid cloud burst of rain.

Midnight and daybreak all seem so gray,
bring heartache and emptiness my way.
Smiles lay hidden neath veils of sorrow,
once for you I would beg steal or borrow.

The fork in the road leaves me confused,
which way to turn with heart so bruised.
You won the battle, I'll no longer fight,
love came, went like a thief in the night.

Unsuspecting, how I wanted to believe,
your words were not said to deceive.
My mind says go west, my heart go east,
now lost and confused to say the least.

Another turning point in my life,
so tired am I of tormernt and strife.
Ambivalent to all the tears I shed,
lost on this path I've been led.
