Journey to somewhere is where I began,
travel love's highway since I don't know when.
Tired, weary searching for a way there,
stumble through bruises and deep dark despair.

My search for true love took me high and low,
abused I moved on , I had to let go.
A fork in the road which one should I choose,
another heartache once more I would lose.

This time death took my happiness away,
remember it well that cold winter day.
My journey continued I had no choice,
deep inside me I heard that little voice.

The road became dark and I lost my way,
it seemed like sorrow had come to stay.
Suddenly you came and the sun shone bright,
for a while you made everything seem right.

But then you took back the love freely given,
once more life does not seem worth living.
This journey is almost over I pray,
my hopes and dreams have faded away.
