Mixed emotions past few years,
bring me smiles, bring me tears.
Give then take, leaves confusion,
left with dreams and illussions.

Why is love happiness or sorrow,
here today then gone tomorrow?
Words have meaning, some say,
not be spoken, then tossed away.

Get burnt when we play with fire,
easily stirs our passion, desire.
Falling in love can be a mistake,
sometimes a life long heartache.

So easily, you still pull me in,
with your hello, longing begins.
Bond between remains the same,
drawn together into the flame.
