Red Roses And White Lace

Red roses on white lace,
crimson blood drips upon the snow.
Pining for her lover,
where it leads she does not know.

Laughter now forgotten,
buried beneath tear stained eyes.
Sees the future hopeless,
lover's arrows pierce, she cries.

A storm brews deep within.
sleepless nights take their toll.
Demons of darkness surround,
engulf her very soul.

Sunshine has vanished,
she has gone to search for peace.
Numb from the bitter cold,
death allows pain's release.

The end for her was not swift,
she died a thousand times before.
Too many lies spoken,
she will not be lied to anymore.
