Forsythia

Each spring the forsythia bush,
begins to bud and come alive.
Though it has been a harsh winter,
yellow forsythia will survive.

Buds peek out with the sunshine,
growing stronger ready to bloom.
A tinge of yellow now begins,
as I watch from the dining room .

One morning they are in splendor,
bright yellow bushes in their rows.
Their beauty reflects the sunshine,
with matching colors nature bestows.

Yellow hedges form boundaries,
made by God's awesome creation.
Eyes behold wonders of springtime,
nature's alluring sensation.

Bright yellow dances in the wind,
sway softly like a symphony.
Forsythia have come alive,
it is a springtime rhapsody.
