Edmonton Oilers forward Nail Yakupov is making strides towards a recovery from an ankle fracture.

this week. Yakupov has been out of the Oilers lineup since March 16 but
originally suffered the injury on February 28 after being struck by a shot. The

with the Oilers this season. He is last in the NHL with a minus-33 rating.
