’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers the Dallas Cowboys seemed to be facing more questions than answers. They had just lost consecutive games at home while scoring 30+ points in each contest and were coming out of a bye week that would seem counter-productive for any other team in the National Football League not named the Dallas Cowboys.During their off week, they lost two bodies on the defensive side of the ball in cornerback Nolan Carroll and defensive tackle Stephen Paea (both starters one one point this season), the suspension drama of running back Ezekiel Elliott continued to gain momentum, and owner Jerry Jones provided some controversial statements regarding player conduct during the national anthem. ’s Team.Even with all that happened over their bye week, the Cowboys also had two weeks to prepare for a team that does not have much going in their favor in regards to this season. The 49ers were 0-6 going into the game and could not point to many bright spots on their roster. The end result would end up being exactly what you would think it should be when looking at these teams on paper; a convincing 40-10 win for the Cowboys where they controlled just about every aspect of the game.
