MLB Network insider Jon Heyman listed the Mets, Blue Jays and Yankees as
potential trade partners for Harrison, and said starting pitcher Gerrit
Cole Josh Reddick Youth Jersey and outfielder Andrew McCutchen are also being discussed.
Harrison, 30, was an All-Star in 2017, batting .272 with a career-best
16 home runs in 128 games with Pittsburgh. He has one year remaining on
his contract with club options for 2019 and 2020.
Should the Pirates Ken Giles Youth Jersey commit to a rebuild this winter and opt to trade veterans like
Harrison, Cole and McCutchen, they'll likely be seeking controllable
prospects to supplement their young core.
The Yankees have also been prominently linked to Cole in trade rumors.
New York drafted Cole in the first round in 2008, but he chose to attend
UCLA and eventually joined the Pirates as the No. 1 overall pick in
2011.
