i think lollywood will remain unchanged. i've noticed everyone - from the actors and actresses to the directors and producers are nothing but talk. they say alot of sh*t but they dont produce anything we can call 'blockbuster'

i think the fashion and drama industries will shine. we need more models tho, especially if amna haq really does retire.

the industry that will THRIVE in 2005 in my opinion, is the pop/music industry of pakistan. i have never seen an album as highly anticipated as FUZON'S next album. and then there's HADIQA who is due for something new, HUMAIRA ARSHAD, MEKAAL HASAN BAND and the list goes on. there is an explosion of bands in pakistan right now, and 2005 will see some big names come up...

in a recent article in india, a big record company executive said that india is looking to sign bands from pakistan and bangladesh. they have already snagged fuzon, strings and junoon. and according to this guy our bands charge between 1.5 - 25 lakh RUPEES for a performance/appearance/deal.... ...pakistani music will kick ass in 2005 insha'allah

well not really, i just saw aijazz aslums interview and he said that next year will be a big year for the film industry and he said that all commerical ad directors and music video directors and drama directors and coming into lollywood and he said he will start to come in films is well now.

in fact 2005 is the last hope for film industry.cinemas r being demolished.25 cinemas r no more now if there r no cinemas no film industry.if these 3;4 films will not b hit lollywood is going to end forever.

rubber band (with ahmed bhatt from ep, mekaal hasan and some other guy) has a song out called 'rubber band' in which they tease popular bands like fuzon, and junoon!

humaira arshad's single has been released which is called 'kanoo mardan' AWESOME track...

hadiqa and atif have a duet for a drama called 'aas paas' which is making the rounds...

abeer released her album abt a month ago, and her track 'mahi ve chan ve' is pretty good...

strings are on fire right now...that monster lookin' lady from bollywood (think her names bipsha) and another bollywood actress danced on stage @ the MTV IMMIES with strings while they sang 'chayae chayae'

well cinemas closing down is a good thing.

the cinemas closing down are the old dirty ones. which no one wnats to go to.

but if you go to urban parts of lahore you can see there are many new shopping malls being made and they all have cinema screens in them, so in a year there will be lots of new cinemas.

what r u saying man cinemas should not b closed but renovate they should b made dts.cinemas in shopping malls wuold b much expensive they would not be 4 masses.

one shud think before sayng any thing am i rite shabby golimaro is absolutely right they shud renovate thier theaters instead of closing them.

you can only renovate and upgrade if you have aakal, which those people dnt have, they dnt even know nothing about business, tickets would be expensive in shopping malls but when good movies start to be made cinemas would finaly start opening up everywere.

yo, i heard all of Fakhir's album and i only liked Mahi ve n Tauba tauba. the rest are vasool.

i heard that Sur song and i think its okay. Aaadat is much better though

See, i try to download GOOD 192bit quality Paki mp3s. which are hard to find. i can burn em easily n listen 2 them in my mp3 n cd player. Most songs on the internet are usually in .rm format or if in mp3, they are low in quality.

do u know when Strings or FUzon is coming out with their next album? and wheres Shezhad Roy?

fuzon's next album is due out in february. probably around basant. but keep in mind its muharram...so dont be surprised if it comes out later (march). no idea abt strings tho. they're touring the world right now so i dont think they're even working on their next album...lol
