Allah swt says that His took over His anger. Mercy and forgiveness if Allah are limitless. Prophet of Allah (pguh) said Allah will forgive sins of his slave even if they reach the clouds or even if they are bigger than the mass of the earth, provided he/she believes in His oneness and realizes he/she made errors and approach Him in repentance.
Conditions for repentance include:
- recognizing sin
- accepting error
- feel sorry for doing it
- resolve never to do it again
- ask forgiveness with sincerity
Trick of satan is that it makes us arrogant and we do not recognize our acts as sins and we don't seek forgiveness until death approaches us.
So do we evaluate our day at night before going to bad. Do we really critically review our activities. Things we said and did? Do we really pa attention to small and minor things that we fend off sometimes as minor sins? Do we seek forgiveness from Allah before going to bed not knowing if we will wake up to live the next day?
