means k agar app pak mein paida hue ho ya india mein ya america mein..u r not basically paki or indian or american!!

97% kashmiris consider thmselves kashmiri ONLY,not paki nor indian!! bt thy r forced to either use paki passport(like me n my family)or forced to use indian passport(like my cousnz in jammu n kashmir)..nationality is not determined by ur birth-place or ur passports!!
u cant say u r paki jst coz ur family roots r there!! many ppl hve lived all their lives in saudia bt thy r still not arab
i guess nationality is defined by somethin else!!

Lolz..it's kinda funny, of course you like to believe that because you live and brought up in a country you adopt their nationality, but then if you trace your roots then obviously they come back to pakistan, but what about americans...i mean white americans, American Indians are native to that country but the whites believe that they are American...silly, if you trace "their" roots they come from all over the world. So why ar us pakis, called pakis no matter where we live. Tecnically we aint pakis if we were born and raised for generations in a foreign country, aint we brits? aint we French, aint we Americans?

We're kinda lost, cos when we in Britain, we are pakis, but when we go to our "home" country we need a Visa cos we aint pakistani citizens and when we there we are the "valaitis" yeah so what exactly makes us paki if even out home country disowns us....me, i was so strongly a paki, that i got me a NADRA card, and i had to pay to be a Pakistani citizen. but i'm still feeling displaced.

The only thing i don't have to pay to be, the only thing that no one would question me about being is Muslim, i'm a muslim and i'm not taxed for it. End of story

Those who live in pak, i can understand. I can feel for those who were born in Pak & then migrated elsewhere. But I aint sure about those born in a third country.

for example, A couple was born in Bangladesh but their child was born in pakistan. Then this child migrated to etihopia. He had a child there. What's his identity? bangladeshi, Pakistani or ethiopian!

hvng same background..almost same culutres wid understanding of language..plays a main role in JB being joined by desi ppl in majority..i am not saying,paki,indians,kashmiri's,afghan,or begali's..i mean desi,which basically means ppl 4m all thz areas..
if u hve a common background...its easy to adjust in tht place..simple..
let me give u my example..i knw arabic..i can understand..i can speak/wite the language..bt still i m nevr comfortable wid joinin arab forums..coz evn though i knw tht language i cant communicate wid same confidence..i hve lived all 20 yrz of my life in gulf..middle east..bt i still dnt feel comfortable wid culture or whtevr it is..i m kashmiri..i speak urdu..n joinin desi forums makes me feel closer to my culture/language..not closer to pakistan or india!!
