Just like your face and hair should get all the attention they can during the monsoon months, your hands and feet also need special care. Here are a few simple ways in which you can do so:
Foot Soak:
In one-fourth bucket of warm water, add half cup coarse salt and 10 drops of lemon or orange essential oil (if you cannot get essential oil, use half a cup of lemon or orange juice). If your feet tend to sweat a lot, use a few drops of tea tree oil, as it has germicidal properties. Soak your feet in this for ten to fifteen minutes. Wash and apply the hand and foot lotion.
Hand & Foot Lotion:
Mix together three tbsp rose water, two tbsp lemon juice and one tsp pure glycerin. Apply on hands and feet and leave on for half-an-hour.
Cooling Foot Bath:
Add rose water, lemon juice and a splash of eau de cologne to cold water and soak feet in it. Cools, cleans and removes odour.
Silky Hands:
Mix two tbsp sunflower oil, two tbsp lemon juice and three tbsp coarse sugar, till is becomes a paste. Massage hands with it. Rinse off after 15 minutes
