i dont know how many tracks are there on paap's album but 90% of the music are done by pakistanis still then u only see the name of anu malik on the cover!
yeah..it's true..nobody negative thought about pakistani filmi music recording in india with indian singers..just like 'YEH DIL AAP KA HAWA'...and upcoming reema's film..
well the fact is that the only one song is done by anu malik one song by ali azmat and one song by rahet fateh ali khan and the all back ground score of the movie is by shahi and other vital sign guy i lost his name.
rahat did 2 songs, ali azmat 1, anu malik 2, and shahi the rest.
the reason anu malik gets credit is cause the rights were given 2 him when the movie was first thought of. upon hearing the junk that he created, pooja bhatt ditched him for the pakistani singers, but due to legal reasons, anu malik's name remains on the album as the music director.
i don't think Rahat has composed any song....
those two songs sung by Rahat are also composed by shahi....and he has done some excellent work...."man ki lagan" is something very unique....And there is no vital sign guy involved here...correct me if i m wrong
but rahat is very talented.....while shahi officially composed the song man ki lagan, i'm sure rahat put his 2 sense in along the way!! wouldn't u agree?!
and as far as the song being unique.....your 100% right!! but its been done b4!! NFAK'S album, night song, was riddled with this kind of experimental music!! it was very simple....tabla, harmonium, and a simple beat in the back......EXCELLENT!!
who is shashi never heard of him but man ki lagan is excelent and so is the bald mans song. its a good rock song its looks superb like thoses english songs on mtv.
Ummm NFAK was a legendary artist....."man ki lagan" is noway near that night song thou.....that NFAK album with micheal brooks is one of the best albums,i've had in my life,,,,i like crest the most....shaman payan tere binaaaaa....tooo ghar aaa dhoooolna....wooooof....let me play it again...
hi every body manki lagan is really superb rahat's voice was never heard so melodious b4 ecept in his songs kisi roz milo n pholo main rango main.he has 50 % share in song with music director.
