Basant Craze…………..

Why do we celebrate it?
Is firing, dancing, yelling on rooftops is our culture…..?

What example are we setting for our generation next…?
Loss of many precious lives, Electricity break downs, Noise and Wastage of money on such useless Festivals neither develops our Economy nor strengthens our defence from Foreign aggression.

Wake up before it becomes our FATE…….!!!
Think about it…….

And decide for yourself….!!!

i think i already said in an other topic
basant is not something wrong,,, i mean kya fark parta hai to have some fun for a week

but it s the way we celebrate it
pak is basically a poor country,,, wher ppl get money to arrrange these festivals or to attend these concerts
i ve heard ppl pay thousandzzz of Rs to hire terrasses

last yr one of my friend sent me some pics of basant night,,, loads of kite,,, musicc, lighting,, bottles (not of orange juice offcource) + gunz


and all that in a city jahan pe me ne apne samne decembre ki sardi mei chote chote bachon ko sarak pe nange pau barish mei phirte dekha hai

i like basant, its fun, n i think nothin is wrong with it, no matter what...so i would love to have fun on basant...when i go to pak...

i know that people do all that stuff for fun,i used to do that too but i know they don't think that there is anything wrong about it
but some of the things are-
bohat nuksan bhi hota hai as all of u said
per jitney pasey hum in saab mein kharach ker detey hain waste ker detey hain utney mein jitni humari country poor hai us ko improve kerne ke liye dein to kia kuch nahin ho sakta.
humari country mein logh in saab ke liye bohat karach kertey hain... jo logh kuch ban jatey hain un ko abroad janey ki pari hoti hai, lekin kia hum yeh hi saab apni country ko improve kerne mein nahin liga saktey.
pata nahin kia ho ga humara, humari country ka, humarey logon ka
bas yeh hi dua hai ALLAH TALLAH se keh jo bhi ho acha ho.

AUQAAT say baher koi cheez buri nahin hoti...Magar Pakistanis ka Problem yeh hay keh zara si Freedom milnay per yeh AUQAAT say Baher ho jaatay hainn...Basantis a welcome to Sprinf Season...Kites are a symbol of Color and happiness, But the things makes it bad is MUSIC (m for music and m also for a punjabi dance) ( D for Dance and d for drink)(G for Ginn G for Guns)

These all bad things makes it bad.

Personally I dont like Basant.

People says that It makes Pakistan's Image goo din the eyes of world that we have good environment here. I think MARATHON and WALKS and other sports should be promoted and it can make a good image than Basant.

basant (like may day and few more religious events) seems to b a way to worship 'mother earth'
means celebrating earth's fertility
