musicaly gifted ASHKHAN reveals her soul

yo peeps,

good to c everyone is still the same as bfr i left, cool. anywa this is my first post since my return so do me proud by replyin as much as u can. so here goes...

what kind of music describes your personality the best? for example I grew up listening to the beegees, abba and bonny M, Noor Jehan, Iqbal bano and the rolling stones cos my dad loved them. being an asian man he loved music esp western and classical.

So now my soul food is music, I love:
Abba: all esp. gimme gimme gimme, fernando, take a chance on me, dancing queen.

Beeges: Love whatever they did, loved the sountrack of Saturday night fever, love Stayin alive.

Aretha Franklin: Respect, actually cant name all her songs cos loved them all, she was the soul queen. and soul blues music.

Frank sinatra and 50's hollywood movie songs: cant take my off u, and all the 50's big band songs, simply devine.

Diana Ross and the supremas: Baby love they were just every chicks music.

Noor Jehan and old paki classical and movie songs: they r simply the best. the top standard of fine music. i love watching them and listening to them as it reaches ur soul.


more modernly maddona, micheal jackson and on and off flirts with new singers, like pussycat dolls, and robbie williams. some hindi film songs, like lately bluffmaster soundtrack, deedar de, but their only short-lived facies.

thats my soul i live on music and this kind of music defines the kind of person i am, a musically informed person.

i love john denver,hanks williams,don williams,elvis the King ,nat king cole and natalie cole,buddy holly,john paul young,ray charles,tom waits specially the soundtrack of the prince and me,mind mccready,van morrison,commodores,lionel richie,stevie and lets not forget bob marley
in pakistani i love amanat ali,pathanay khan,mansoor malangi,noor jahan,asad amanat ali,zhida parveen,abida parveen's some singles..etc

mainly i live on the country music or rather the oldies

oh ok frank brov, ur a bit of big and strong voices, not an oldie but some1 who sings along, a reserved but talented person who is a star at heart a big heart whos talent is what matters.

that's a great blend of artists you like Ashkhan. When I hear Beeges I think Staying Alive :) I'm not too keen on their slower numbers like How deep is your love? Noor Jehan's old music, the one she sang in India, is timeless and her best work.

My taste, my soul, is a combination of grundge rock and classical music. Mozart - I used to eat and sleep, it became an obsession wanting to perfect my playing, and Vivaldi - although I don't play the violin each time I hear Winter from the 4 seasons, I become spellbound.

Nirvana, Soundgarden, Rolling Stones, and Guns n Roses, I own every album of theirs.

well guys, no aggressive words for the love of music. simlpy cant live without it, and i listen to pink floyd, jimi hendrix, rush, beethoven, alan holdsworth, dream theater, moon spell,Dusk, Mizraab, BB king, neo metal, western clasical,funeral, heavy metal etc, and ma own band "Fairytales Graveyard"

thanx man, nah i don like the slow songs their alright for one time. I love any symphony played on piano, u can play the violin too, man how many things can u play? hey u sound like me, a happy go lucky person, who loves every thing life has to offer, and who is proud of what they have or are. way ta go.


ps. i still loves guns and roses,their albums were my first independantly purchased albums.

no sweetie you misread, i *don't* play the violin - lolz but that doesn't mean i don't love what life has to offer and yes i am very thankful to god for giving me so much even though i don't deserve it.

guns n roses are great, even though they tend to make fools of themselves very frequently, but mera matlaab is with their music not them so it's all good

alicia keys has some great piano numbers you might like to hear, esp "keep on falling"

me a good voice not happening. Every time i open my mouth to sing, and bfr even i can say a word, im told to shut up. u got a good voice?

im just a music lover. i take notice of every little aspect of a tune. im thinkin of becoming a music producer.
