what is ur source?? how can u say that it grossed over one carore now ??? cuz cinema owners never tell the collections ?????

Posted on 1/30/2006 3:33:10 PM

cinema owners only know collections for the films run at there own cinemas.

lucman distributed the film himself so he is the only one who knows the collections,

Well Cinema Owner tells the collections and you just need to sit with him and wait him to call the man and give you the WHOLE COLLECTION!

More on PPP from the News International

From a whimper to a non-whimper. We're talking about the much-awaited flick Pehla Pehla Pyar, which finally made it to the cinemas. But from what we have been told by our moles, the film did not even create a mini moan at the box office. Its premiere was held at a cinema in Karachi, which was attended by quite a few members of the glitterati, thanks to the personal PR of Mussarat Misbah, the name behind Depilex Vision, which produced the film. We are told that there were quite a few hiccups in the movie and the report so far is that it has failed to draw in the masses. Oh, and it seemed rather odd that the scriptwriter of the movie, Irfan Ahmed Urfi, who despite being in Karachi, was not invited at the premiere. Also missing from the scene was Navaid Rasheed aka Tony who was the production coordinator of the project and also had a small role in it. Strange indeed!

Taify what are the Urdu film weeklies like the Nigar Weekly, Filmi Parcha and Noor Jehan weekly saying about the film's box office status.

I used to get the Nigar weekly myself on a regular basis before.

Also Faisla has a lollywood box office report and gives the collections from Lahore and Karachi but that comes out after every 2 weeks.

How much money has Luqman made from non-box office revenue. Like how much did he sell the audio rights for PPP. It won't be much but still interested.

Another thing which does not help our industry is piracy.

I have heard he is planning another movie and what about releasing it in the UK.

Posted on 2/2/2006 6:07:50 AM

Have no idea sir!

Posted on 2/2/2006 1:01:36 PM

well i hope lucman do release his film in uk and usa as well although the chances r very minimum now lets see.

Posted on 2/2/2006 3:57:24 PM

lucman didnt sell no rights for his audio, he made his own audio company and made the audio and cds himself.

Posted on 2/2/2006 8:20:30 PM

i remember in august ppp had sold about 200,000 audio reported by nation it must be more then 500,000 by now, he must have made alot of money from it.

Posted on 2/2/2006 8:27:16 PM

yoyo I don't now if you have the PPP audio CD but look on the cover and you will see that it has been released by a company called Thar Productions. They also released the audio cd of KTSIPH and KTSK.

How can you then say that Luqman formed his own audio company and released it himself.
