Indians movies have always been banned there is no such answer for this simple as. Yes In this country everything is piracy lolly, bolly, holly are all pirate and everyone watches these because the market is cheaper e.g them plaza in hall road are main suppliers in the whole Pakistan.
Cinema are not family standard mainly are almost packed when there is Punjabi flick, female turnout is not good because of our society. E.g. Respect, culture issues.
Yes I do believe that our industry market has fallen down completely un the last 20 years probably because sum good reason
1, it cheaper, 3rd class films scripts , awful cameras
2, mafia have been ruling for the last 20 years, jagga production, gujjar production, every third film is named jagga or whatever
3, these producers comes from rural village background they make money from they agricultural farming then invest it on films. Another good e.g of this is the Food St in Gwalmandhi- them tall buildings are owned by badmash’s of Lahore.
believe me, these are the reason we can never make highly developed films till we get rid of these people. I come from this background too but I’m not afraid to speak out and I’m against this issue to be honest- because my country, people comes first.
Going back in 70s and early 80s our industry was booming the films were class superhits them day films were made costly and location were in uk, usa Thailand, bangkong we had good stars them day, such as
Mohmd ali, Faisal, Nadeem, Salma aga, Mumtaz, Babra shareef, Waheed murad, Talish, Zeba, Lehri, Ali ejaz, Nanna and not to forget young Javed shaikh
