Sneha Ullal : The Aishwarya Rai lookalike

You would have noticed it for sure, if not mistaken it. The first thing that struck your mind while watching the promos of ‘Lucky - No Time For Love’? The striking similarity between newcomer Sneha Ullal and Aishwarya Rai .

Yes, Sneha looks so similar to Ash that she can be easily passed off as the former Miss World’s twin sister. And amusing is the fact that Sneha is the leading of Salman Khan in his forthcoming film ‘Lucky - No Time For Love’.


And guess what, according to the movie’s director-duo Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao, Sneha is “entirely Salman’s discovery.”

Sapru adds, “While we were constantly on the lookout for the film’s lead heroine, Salman suggested a girl who studies in his sister Arpita’s college. She sizzled when we screen-tested her.”

Ullal, 18, a Bandra resident and student of National College, therefore landed up with the title role of the heavy-duty love saga shot in St Petersburg.

‘Lucky - No Time For Love’ is a Sohail Khan production and is set in Eastern Europe.

Aditya (Salman) is the son of an Indian ambassador in an Eastern European country. Lucky (Sneha) is a 17-year-old local girl of the country. And the young girl is fascinated by Aditya’s charm. But the relationship is not permissible because of the age difference between the two.

While the media has splashed enough ink over comparing her to Aishwarya Rai, Salman has something different to say about newcomer Sneha Ulal, who makes her debut with Lucky. According to him, "She is a newcomer. Please do not run her down with comparisons. Ash is a polished actress. Sneha is just making a start. She has a long way to go. Give her what is due." As for looking like Ash, he said, "Any girl with fair skin and green eyes will look like Aishwarya Rai. That does not mean that you begin to compare the two, does it?"
