its reflects like that islam allows this sort of activities in islam.
we all shud submit our vote their. if they dont response positive. we shud not watch out the movie.
not only this movie but some more movies who are created on Messengers Subject.

i completely agree with t.t.when years ago this movie was made,us waqt effort hoi thi is ko pakistan main release karnay ki,but gov.had banned it in pakistan.even the video centres in our city banned the movie.ab pata nahin geo.ko kis ne ajaazat de di is movie ko dikhanay ki.as for jamia azhar,afsos ki baat ye hay k jis ko bhi koi najaiz baat sahi tasleem karani ho,he goes to al.azhar.i am going to record my protest,t.t,aap ne jo koshish ki is ki jaza to ALLAH hi de ga but thanx man.u opened our eyes.

i dont get it wats wrong witht the movie. i saw it about 5 yrs ago, and it avaliable in most islamic stores. they dont even show prophet muhammed p.b.u.h. they show his saya, not even his voice. its a very good movie, not misleading in anyway.

i think its just being to extremist by thinking like that tt bro. i lived in an arabc state, they ban movies with so the snap of a finger, even if it has a little thing wrong with it. they never banned this.

it shows the bravery of hazrat hamza. i didnt know much bout him bfr. and the scene with hazrat bilal giving the first azan was so beiutiful, it really moves u.

u should all watch it bfr passing a judgement.

anthony quinn who plays hazrat hamza playes omer mukhtar a strong relgious leader in palestine in lion of the dessert. thats like feeling y chiristopher lee played quaid-e-azam in jinnah. thier actors.

its not the question of who plays what role.it is a consensus among all the sects that our sacred personalities must not b shown in photos movies etc.b that Bilal or Hamza,touching it might b,but the whole idea is wrong thats why we r against it.

but its for educational purposes,
its something that we all can watch and know about the time and how islam became what it is.

just b positive instead of having a negative perspective.

treat is as if u are just learning from it, no strings attached.

Yes I am Xtremist U R rite that in that movie Hazrta Muhammd (PBUH) was not shown but His Sahaba (Razi Allah Tala Unho) was shown.Hazrat Bilal (RATU) half shown half clothed saying Azan,Hazrat Hamza (RATU) was shown and acted by Anthony Hopckins and is he cabaple enuff to be portrayed as a great and respected personality.Please my friends get a FIQA book and read that.In the Era of Nabi Kareem (PBUH) Human sketching is more ata glancethan today .If Allah want to show us hi s Prophet(PBUH) and his Sahaba(RATU) then it was not difficult for HIM and those people But He did'nt do that.
One more thing Islamic History and evolution is enuff and QURAN and SUNNAH is not a fairy tale that some one has dramatised it like HARRYPOTTER.
If we dont condemn it now then the step making islam towards a adventures of some one will be taken and at that time we will be helpless.

agar iss point se iss movie ko ban kiya jae to sab ki sab movies ban honi chaiye,,, iss se pehle 10 comm. Passion, Moses and loads of other movies mei Prophets ko dikhaya gaya,, no one ever banned it
hamara imaan to sab Prophets pe hai,, iss liye 1 movie ban karna hal nahi hai

fazlurehman's father was a scholor,betay ka pata nahin.and by the way all movies that sall mentioned r permanently banned in pakistan.we used to b very rigid and stern in our aqeeda till now.ab roshan khayal ho gay hain ab pata nahin kya ho.

I used to have the movie, seen it many many times, for non-muslims and people who don't go pick up the quran but will go watch a movie it's a way of educating Islamic history to them, better than watching a bolly lolly movie. Go Geo

This movie was mad when most of the paticipants here were not even born. It was available on VHS in pakistan in 70s and 80s.

Scholars in Al-Azhar are far better equipped with knowledge to render something Islamic or unIslamic. Let's not impose our limited (actually very limited) knowledge of religion upon those who have studied the subject. I'm sure no one here will comment (criticize) on the expert opinion of a scholar from NASA.
