Live! 2.5km from the Tower - Album Release
In the year 1996, Ali, Babar, Ahmed and Rizwan, students of Indus Valley School of Arts-Karachi, formed a band named Ganda Banda & the 3 dead cats. Known in the local circle for performing live shows in various restaurants and cafes, they later gained popularity by performing live in numerous concerts and events. Shehzad Muktar later joined the band as their lead guitarist.

Little did anyone know, for in 1997 they recorded a live album at Sonic Studios Karachi, named ‘Live! 2.5km from the tower’. The album traced numerous covers and some originals, all recorded live without any cut or edit.

The band finally made their farewell video of their original single ‘Tu na ho meray pass’ in 2003, directed by Umair Tareen (Razam). The band officially announced it ‘over’ in 2004.

Raw is proud to release their complete album ‘Live! 2.5km from the tower’, for the first time.
