High up in the further most regions of The hindu Kush in Chitral, Pakistan lie a people are a very different and unique to the area around them. They are an isolated and special people.
They are called The Kalash people. These people are ancient, a live a life like no other today.
These people are the living decendents of Alexander the Great's soldiers and indeed maybe Alex himself.
This I think is trully amazing. The people there have the light features of the Greek soldiers.

What is so saddening I feel is that Pakistan’s Kalash population held out as pagans, though some have converted to Islam.
Some of teh population have been Forceably converted to Islam, this destroying their very own beliefs.
Then there is the controversial issue of Muslim conversions
This is still going on.
