Beyond The Pane

Behind the curtain daybreak peeks,
as darkness drifts away,
Heavenly morn for sunrise seeks,
a dawning of new day.

In eastern sky as sun does rise,
her dreams are swept away.
A vista brings breathtaking sighs,
for sunrise on the bay.

Amid rays of light, sunbeams dance,
the seascape comes alive.
Picturesque is first morning light,
as hungry seagulls dive.

Sol comes forth with warmth and might,
upon blue water gleams.
Beyond the pane where stars shone bright,
the keeper of her dreams.

Persimmon sky soon awaken,
in moonlight tidal flow.
Washed away, her love forsaken,
lost too was sunshine's glow.
