For XP users!!!

I had a problem which I want to share with you....
While working on my PC it restarted.. again when finish loading windows, it restarted again..
I went in Safe Mode and changed the date in System Restore to 3 days back... but it did not
work... my PC was restarting again n again .. I changed it to 30 days back... but it did not work
also.... Then I went to Start/Control Panel/System/Advance/Startup And Recovery/Settings
and unchecked Automatically Restart... doing so stopped my PC from restarting and I could
read the error window... which said the following file is corrupt. I uninstalled the software
and it is working fine now..... BUT when I used the option System Restore and went back 30
days... all my setting also went back 30 days. (FTP, Outlook, Desktop, etc...)
So you guys should also turn Auto Start off....

yesh u are quite right... but.. ohh it is the really big loss... i realize that .. outlook and FTP loss.. (esp I'm Data Concious person [shy wink] ) ... pplz.... one suggestion .. while you restore ur system.. and u have to ... save ur settings... jus copy your profile... in XP .. to an other location :) or .. if you are jus curios abt.. outlook .. jus copy :) the whole :) folder from .... e.g u've installed ur XP in C drive..

so ur path will be C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{******-****-****-*****-*****}\Microsoft   (i hide my number my self by Astarik [dar wali wink)and copy this to some other place... recomended ... an other drive :) (partion)

i also have windows xp

recently installed it

bcz when i work on comp for more than half an hour.. it slows down.. what could be the reason??

so simple ... juz go to microsoft site ,, n downlaod service pak 4 ... n install it ...

it hava many patches... dat will help ya out
