.....Rain.....

Alone, sitting, watching the rain fall,
I give my self away
To the water,
To the flames of the drops,
Forever.
The darkness creeps in,
My reality is shattered
And I fall,
I fall into the dark,
Into the deep,
Into an illusion.
My fate has changed,
My eyes can no longer see,
Yet, I give myself away.
The rain hits me,
Yet, it slices through my body,
For you see, I am no longer there.
I am falling into the dark,
My illision now becoming my reality,
My eyes see, yet my body doesn't feel,
And the rain keeps falling.

Never would I think
Of going out there to feel
The raindrops on my gentle skin.

The sound of the thunder
Roaring above like a ferocious lion
Waiting for the moment
When he is finally free from his pain.

When will I be free from pain?

The lightning
Is lighting up the sky
Brightening the darkness.

The wind blows
And my tears are wiped away
By the breeze.

I stand in the rain
Determined to find an answer
Of how my one love could get away.

I cry
And break down
In the downpour.

I don't know what I feel.

She was my light
My heart
And I just wanted to see
Her smile.

How could I feel so alone?

I always told myself
I could never fall in love
Now nothing could make up
for what I lost.

The time had passed
I was all out of tears,
I thought it was over.

Was it over?

A swollen heart
Teary eyes
I never felt so alone
So torn apart,
So miserable.

I wanted to be alone,
But most of all,
I wanted Her Here..!!

Finally I feel comfort
In the weather
This morning

The sound of rain
Lulls me awake

I want to walk a mile
Down at the beach
This morning

The feel of rain
Makes me feel safe

The force of the fall of raindrops
On the bushes
This morning

The look of rain
Is my companion

Feel the warmth and love
In the kitchen
This morning

The taste of rain
Brings me home

Watching other cars fall behind
Gazing out the window
This morning

The movement of rain
I’m almost there

The strong winds
Will make the storm move fast
This morning

The absence of rain

The rain was falling down on my shoulder
The tears were drowning my cheek
I wonder...Will I ever get older?
Or die today? I am so weak

I could feel the water in my hair
My arms trembling, because of the cold
I knew that you would never be there
I wept for words left unsaid, stories left untold

Every time you hurt me left me bleeding scars
Of loneliness and sorrow that forever shall remain
Losing my mind, I deliver my body to the stars
And my soul embraces the darkness within the rain

Warm rain swept my face as I walked the lonely road,
With the scent of sweet honeysuckle capturing the moment.
The birch trees sway gently in the windy summer rain,
And visions of childhood appear without refrain.
The sound of thunder rolls across the sky overhead,
In a clearing the lightening bolt strikes the near meadow's edge.
I've always loved the rain and never knew why.
Perhaps it was the surrendering of farm work as a boy,
That first caught my eye.
Fondest memories of rainy days have never eluded,
As I continue my walk down this tranquility so secluded,
As I near the crossroads and simultaneously the sun now emerging
Casts it's brilliant rays through the dissipating clouds and trees.
A rainbow soon visible in all the captivating colors,
Looking like a giant shroud across the summer sky.
As my walk came to an end down this remote country road,
So did the rain.
Without it I would have missed a wonderful journey
to the town of Dreams..!!
