Towering over the wilderness so high,
evening slowly fades away.

Flaming colors so heavenly abundant,
persimmon sunset at its best.
Coming together with the edge of darkness,
another day has come to rest.

The silence in the forest is so numbing,
creature of the night now prowls.
Hoot owls atop trees, the day is succumbing,
silence broken, grey wolf howls.

Billowy streams of clouds colored tangerine,
drift as autumn winds gently flow.
Flaming horizon adorns the western sky,
another day soon will go.
