Good days can suddenly turn bad,
start off great, then wind up sad.
It matters not the length of day,
on heavy heart problems weigh.

Joy may be fleeting, gone soon,
can disappears past afternoon.
For as sure as the day is long,,
bad news can come along .

So hard to remain optimistic,
when things seem pessimistic.
Come what may within the night,
good times seem to take flight.

Take for granted so many things,
not knowing what evening brings.
Silence of night, dark, deceiving,
teardrops fall mid lonely grieving.

Day full of mirth, feelings devine,
praying this day turns out fine.
No not what fate, lies here before,
trepidation makes feeling unsure.
