BCCI confirm tour of Pakistan

The BCCI has confirmed, in writing, that it has received permission from the Government of India to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan, a PCB press release said.

Jagmohan Dalmiya, BCCI president, has also written to the PCB saying that "as per the agreement between the two boards," India would tour Pakistan in February-March of 2004.

"However, the BCCI has requested us to send a fresh itinerary as the previous itinerary gives the Indian team a very brief break from the tour to Australia," a spokesman of the PCB said.
