Despite going through a rough phase, the film industry isn't missing out on its share of new comers. They make tall claims before joining the industry but disappear in the crowd when their films don't do well.

What is so alarming and different about Lollywood is that while other film industries may get at least one promising face a year, we get one in two years. And the industry has to be lucky if the new comers finally survive. Now, while a lot of new comers in Salakhein and Pehla Pehla Pyar are waiting for these films to be released, Zara Sheikh can't find any new film in her kitty. The actress, who had given the actresses a fright, promised to do two films a year but it seems that she didn't get any film after Commando who was released on Eid-ul-Fitr.

The previous year was bad for Zara Sheikh as three of her much awaited projects failed at the box office. In Yeh Wada Raha, Laaj and Commando, Zara had stereotype roles and failed to make an impact on the viewers. It is interesting to note that in Yeh Wada Raha, Zara Sheikh's complete work in the movie was not more than 12 scenes and two songs. On the other hand, Laaj, the one she was speaking a lot looked like Nirma's movie than her. Commando again was not her solo heroine.

The most interesting thing is that despite all this, Zara is not ready to sign any project with Sangeeta. Zara was of the view that people are sick of watching stereotype movies and if films like Pyar Hi Pyar Mein will be made again and again then they would flop. Zara said that she is not doing any movies in future like she did in the last year because it has damaged her public image.

Zara is currently working in a handful of films, but none of them include a production from Gul brothers - the banner, which launched her. Salaakhein and Pehla Pehla Pyar, mean a lot to Zara Sheikh, as their success will prove her as a bankable actress and stabilise her career in Lollywood.
