Kareena in Pakistani film?

A section of the Mumbai press surely know how to concoct stories… or perhaps, in order to fill up their pages, they come up with vague ideas.
Take the recent case of this [mis]reporting pertaining to Kareena Kapoor doing a Pakistani movie, to be directed by acclaimed Pakistani actor-director Jawed Sheikh. According to these 'know-alls', Jawed had approached Kareena to enact the second lead [!!!] in his new production, KHULE AASMAN KE NEECHEY.
However, Jawed Sheikh was caught unaware when this writer asked him to verify the development. “What rubbish! Can anyone in their right senses even think of casting Kareena in the second lead? She ranks amongst the top actresses of India and if need be, I would cast her in the main lead,” Jawed quashes the rumour outright, “The truth is, I haven't approached her for my forthcoming film. Yes, I am planning to cast Indian actors in the film, but Kareena is not in the picture at all.”
Incidentally, Jawed has just returned from Canada after shooting for his first Indian film - DUS. “It was a wonderful experience shooting for an Indian unit. They are so professional. And more than anything else, they really looked after me very, very well,” Jawed smiles, “In fact, when I was about to leave Canada, they requested that I stay back and be their [the producers] guest for a few more days. Isn't that magnanimous on their part?”
Meanwhile, Jawed has signed one more Indian film. “John Mathew Matthan has signed me for a pivotal role in his forthcoming film. My co-stars are Ajay Devgan, Shahid Kapoor, Amrita Rao and Sameera Reddy,” Jawed divulges.
