i my self is not really lookin forward to the movie, even thou i have topic open about it...but its jus for the crazy lovers, its just an other old repeated love story which tells a story about a girl from pakistan n guy from indian n how they cant be together, blah blah...but if u like love stories n u can sit in a theatre watch em cry n dance around the trees, then this is jus the product u would love to pay for...but if not then save that money n have taco bell...
oh yea i'm gona see it ne ways, because i wana see how much did yash chopra (the maker)tried to make it look like Devdas...cuz it reminds me of Devdas so much for some reason...
i got a presentation 2 do. we gotta show how india's culture is shown through their movies. which movies could we use as an example 2 show this??? preferably old.
then we're gonna show a modern day bollywood movie, to show how they have changed, and how the west has influenced them. any suggestions???
its a 20 minute presentation. me and my group have to depict cultural identity and the media's influence over it. we'll show an old clip, and then a new modern clip to show the difference.
india's media (bollywood) is heavily influenced by the west (hollywood). we were thinkin' of showing the movie hollywood/bollywood??
its about how their girls wear the same clothes as western chics, n how those teenagers use drugs n sex before marriages...all the opposite to wat they shoud be doin...

i like bollywood, they're changin now, some of the ppl comin out with different stories, like Ek Haseena Thee is one of my all time favz...
Ek haseena thi waz totally diff frm all d other moviess... and in dis moviee...saif proved dat he can carry on d movie on hiz shoulders..well off saif waz alwayz cute..but in dis ek haseena thi...he waz lukin damn cuterrr .. me adore him alottt
