Bazigaar: there are many non-muslims (including atheists)who are very sensitive and caring! Yet there are those who care and are sensitive to others until their own interests are not staked.

A persons sensitivity roots in internal motivations. True and lasting motivations come from FIRM belief in an entity that is everlasting and whose reward is never ending.

We, including you sall, digged much deeper into what yusfi suggested, and may be even more so then he may have imagined. Reason, I say this becuz yusufi only addressed the symptoms of a disease, while we looked into the root of it. Insensitivity is an effect and result of a cause i.e. twisted motivations, high expectations from unreliable sources (unnamed gods / materials), short-lived successes.

Nations downfall begins when they cut themselves off of their roots (basis / origin) of their existance and identity. Just like when you cut a tree off its roots, no matter how green and healthy it is, will rot and die after a short while. We were given and identity by our creator and if we loose it, we will be disgraced.
