where have you gone?
your not there..
your supposed to be there..
here.. with me, for me..
round the corner, further yonder
your there.. without me..
without a sign of care or worry
cause i dont exist to you anymore
just a distant memory
dusted and pushed away
to the furthest corners of your mind..
to forget.. forget me.. and the memories..
backed against the wall
i stand there..
watching you.. so happy without me..
while i sit here.. doing so bad without you..

The Hidden Hero
------------------


He's not your normal type of hero,
he's not someone you would expect to see,
someone else looking up to.
he's kinda quite,
yet he's so loud,
he's one of the best people
that anyone could ever meet.
he's sometimes a pain
like everyone else in the world
he can be so sweet
that it doesn’t seem like its him.
he's someone that you can talk to,
and feel safe with,
he knows how to treat someone right,
and make them feel better
when everything just came crashing down.
he's my best friend in the entire world
I wouldn’t trade him for anything
he's my one and only true hero
the one that I can rely on.
The one person
that can cheer me up
when I’ve been crying
all night long

Back To Hell

I can’t find the words
To explain how I feel
My scars tell my story
So open your mind,
Close your eyes
And listen carefully

My skin is painted; red with life
it protects me from my pain
Scabs cover my body
To heal the inner anguish
My tears fall onto my wounds
As to numb my self abuse

My temporary escape
reality is just a dream
but once this dream is over
its back to hell with me

My Hidden Tears

I smile to not show you...
How much pain I am still in.
I pretend to not notice you as if it doesn’t matter...
For to acknowledge your presence would intensify the pain.
I smile to not show you...
How hard it has been to just let you go.
I smile to not show you...
That my wound is still wide open.
I smile to not show you...
That I am still as vulnerable as the last time you saw me.
But in my private, solitary space in the universe, I cannot smile through my tears.
I cry...
Because I still miss our friendship dearly.
I cry...
Because I am no longer a part of your life.
I cry...
Because I know that I was not the one who walked away.
I cry...
Because I let you into my soul where I let few ever go.
I cry...
Because you will not respond to any of my correspondences.
I cry...
Because you have given me no choice but to let you go.
I cry...
Because I can’t let you go. It’s not supposed to be that easy.

Journey's end

His venture ends in pondered thought,
this ocean vast is journey's end,
The ebb and flow of dreams for naught,
from loneliness he must defend.

Unbridled mare sought filly's call,
the search ends upon the sand.
The warmth and safety of his stall,
the price he paid to roam the land.

His sadness rolls in with the tide,
hoof prints in the sand, wash away,
Now alone, he stands misty eyed,
his destiny becomes the bay.

Sweet liberty, the choice you made,
watery grave, the price you paid.

Warm Thoughts Of You

I need you here, to stop these tears,
you made the sunshine everyday.
Missing you when the night appears,
only gray clouds coming my way.

When I awake, thoughts stir within,
how I long to be by your side.
Need you as warm feelings begin,
loving you I never denied.

The depth of my love has no end,
stands the test of time ever more.
My heart can no longer pretend,
I never loved like this before.

Into my life, warm summer breeze,
so quickly and unsuspected.
Into my heart, you came to please,
love between us, unexpected.

Needing you as the earth needs rain,
I can not go on without you.
The emptiness would cause me pain,
everyday my whole life through.

These Eyes Do Not Lie

Look deep within, what do I see,
like a gem, many facets shine.
Some distorted, who should I be,
are all of these things truly mine?

Sadness stares, among my tears,
it is staring me right in the eye.
Part of my life for many years,
was love always making me cry.

I see laughter and a big smile,
from children who blessed my life.
Kept smiling, yet all the while
it hid many sorrows and strife.

Entwined throughout, it's love I see,
broken hearts and promises strewn.
Those fairytale endings for me,
lay shattered and broken in ruin.

Looking close I see signs of hope,
sometimes dashed, yet I still dream.
Keeping hope alive helps me cope,
things are not as bad as they seem.

Hands Of Friendship

Why do people hurt each other,
especially those that they love?
Why don't they count their blessings,
given to them from God above?

Friendship is a gift from heaven,
to cherish and nurture as one.
To hold hands and walk together,
in the darkness and the sun.

I will take the hand you offer,
and walk with you many miles.
True friendship is so hard to find,
stands the test of time, any trials.

Forgiveness, a priority,
for true friendship is give and take.
but if one takes without giving,
the bonds of their friendship may break.

Hold on tight, life is a bumpy road,
full of pit falls and temptations,
I will walk with you now my friend,
till our final destination.

Then glorious days, we shall share,
eternal happiness in God's realm,
Sailing the heavens together,
with our Lord and Savior at the helm.

Always A Friend In My Heart

The eyes of love are not blind,
past secrets, hidden from view.
Are there below the surface,
these eyes glimpse what is untrue.

The others saw your failures,
but did not understand.
How much you needed a friend,
just to sit and hold your hand.

The struggles vain, broken dreams,
your hope threadbare and worn.
Pay the price with broken heart,
of a long lost love you mourn.

She is gone, a friend I remain,
but your eyes are blind to me.
The one that never hurt you,
you pretend you do not see.

Some day you will realize,
what a true friend I am to you.
I hope it is not too late,
think of all we have been through.

Hands Of Time

Time can not be measured in length,
for sometimes it goes much to fast.
Those times when sorrow comes to call,
it stays forever, seems to last.

People waste their time foolishly,
put work before pleasure each day.
Take time for friends and family,
before precious time slips away.

Time passes slow in the darkness,
when dragons come into the night.
Each second seems like an hour,
when faced with nightmares and fright.

Days filled with smiles and laughter,
in the blink of an eye they are gone.
They always go by too quickly,
sleeping peacefully til the dawn.

You can waste time if you want to,
put it to good use everyday.
The choice is yours, but remember,
time is always slipping away.

Time on earth shall come to an end,
after death eternity starts.
We dwell in the house of the Lord,
forever with Him in our hearts.

Cup Of Sunshine

Fresh brewed coffee, nothing compares,
roll out of bed, stumble down stairs.
Fresh ground aroma wakes me right up,
sit and enjoy my very first cup.

My sense of smell says it's delicious,
taste buds quelled though not nutritious.
Close my eyes take a few sips or two,
a natural high with this roasted brew.

Morning coffee with cream cheese and toast,
with computer friends I adore the most.
Coffee and friendship combination,
stimulating warm conversation.

Caffein is working as I awake,
brings smiles, another sip I take.
Umm, good to the last drop, yes indeed,
my morning coffee is what I need.

Within My Heart

Given to me, feelings divine,
yet knowing you could never be mine.
Our hearts danced, apart but near,
within sunshine love would appear.

Captured moments for us to share,
hidden away, love beyond compare.
Friends forever on winds we soar,
love tucked away forever more.

Heart skips a beat hearing your name,
deep warm feelings remain the same.
From this dream I shall not awake,
longing with every breath I take.

Just beyond my grasp, love was there,
beckoning me, not knowing where.
Falling in love, falling so deep,
now the hands of time slowly creep.

Yesterday's Dreams
---------------------


My dream catcher is full of dreams,
those dreams forgotten yesterday.
Many dreams that never came true,
got discarded along the way.

Dreams of happiness and forever,
and of wanting a love so true.
Dreams to live forever together,
of three little words, I love you.

As a young girl I would dream,
the prince would come to call.
I would live happily ever after,
finding true love at the ball.

A women dreams of Mr. Right,
your hormones start kicking in,
Thinking you have found true love,
he has your head all in a spin.

He breaks your heart along the way,
another dream that won"t be found.
Dreams have turned into cobwebs,
hollow dreams make a lonely sound.

So I shall empty out the cobwebs,
and begin to dream once more.
I'll try to catch that fleeting dream,
the dream I could not catch before.

Winter Dance Of Pride

Beauty glistens among the quills,
love so prideful within the glow.
Backdrop canvas of white instills,
the texture of new fallen snow.

A ruffled heart as plummage sways,
come do your dance of temptation.
Gentle snowflakes in moonlit haze,
form a crystalized sensation.

For one so proud in shameless stance,
in whispered winds beauty shimmers.
Coquettish lover submits to dance,
feathers soft reflects and glimmers.

Victorious in lovers quest,
amid winter's whiteness love blooms.
Now settled into their love nest,
albino peacock proudly grooms.

Though proud he be, he shows he cares,
a new found mate, now love he shares.

To meet new friends is a blessing,
they bring unexpected smiles.
So nice to chat and share coffee,
each morning across the miles.

We tell of each others sadness,
making each other smile again.
Each one of us rather lonely,
so sad since I don't know when.

A voice on the phone says hello,
it is so nice to talk to you.
We feel a friendship taking hold,
something special starting anew.

I enjoy our time together,
You enjoy my company too.
My days are now so much brighter,
since I share my day with you.
