If elephants could fly, I'd be there with you,
would flap my big ears, like the elephants do.
Soaring high in the sky, with my trunk in the air,
I would follow my heart, fly in blue skies so fair.
Tail would wiggle, back and forth in the breeze,
through billowy softness, fly where ever I please.
Till the end of all time, I shall search for my love,
sail upon sunbeams, throughout heaven above.
Over winding rivers and over mountains so high,
Searching the world over, if elephants could fly.
I would land in a meadow or upon the blue sea,
set down upon you, where ever that might be.
Spring showers keep falling, raindrops feel wet,
I keep looking because, elephants, never forget.
