HELLO TASHA
Hello from no where,
just a town I am passing through.
Traveled many miles,
trying hard to forget about you.
Small town in the mid west,
with dusty road beneath my feet.
Corn fields full of maize,
bitter heart mid corn so sweet.
My longing still remains,
the winding road never seems to end.
Glimpse of hope ahead,
search for a rainbow round the bend.
Walking towards the sunset,
as I try to leave your love behind.
Trying once more to erase,
all these cobwebs from my mind.
Wish you were here,
the road would not seem so long.
Miss you more then ever,
why did something so right....
turn out so wrong?
