Behind those brown eyes
Drowning inside,
Yet she
Smiles,
Laughs,
The pain that she so tactfully hides,
But behind closed doors,
The girl ain’t the same.
Every day every night,
She awakes with a tear on her face,
And as she steps out the house,
Her eyes the only sign,
In to what this girl hides.
She walks past the bus stop,
Her heart filled with dread,
As instead of the usual crowd,
The bullies meet there instead.
She turns away,
So they can’t read her eyes,
The only entrance,
In to the pain that she hides,
The swirling, soulless empty gates,
And as a sole dark tear,
Trickles down her cheek,
As she hears,
Nothing, just darkness,
Until the sudden shot,
Of pain that rages through her veins,
As she screams inside,
She can’t take any more,
But it’s too late,
As she falls to the floor.
Pain,
Swirls around her black corrupt heart,
For once the girl isn’t hiding,
Inside she is dead,
She can’t take any more,
Not the outside that is harmed,
But inside of her head.
She runs to school,
Thoughts inside of her head,
She can’t take it no more,
She runs to the toilets and closes the door.
That night at home she cries her self to sleep,
Wakes up at 3,
Too many thoughts to keep.
Too many thoughts for her to hide,
She cries inside,
God I’ve tried.
She shakes as she reaches for the Knife.
No she thinks this it not right.
She smiles to herself,
As she thinks of the thought,
Of the face of the bullies,
If they knew what she thought.
They wouldn’t be me,
They would cry and hang in shame,
I’m proud of what I am,
I’m not to blame.
So she falls back in bed,
And snuggles up with a sigh,
It shouldn’t be me,
It should be them who should die.
The next morning,
As she approaches school,
Her head up high,
She goes to the bullies,
You know I want to die?
Why do you bully me?
Does it make you feel great?
Because last night,
All I felt was hate.
The bully turned around with the look in her eye,
It’s because you’re beautiful,
That is why,
I love the way you look,
You act,
Why cant I,
Be more like that.
The girl turned round and looked with a sigh,
And gave her a glance,
Walked away,
Without a goodbye.
