Once, after a great storm, an old man was going off to the Masjid to pray, but he slipped in the mud so he went back home to change.
"Pray at home, the path is dangerous" his family implored but he insisted on going.
So after washing & putting on new clothes off he went again only to have the same mishap befall him.
Back he went home, even more determined that he would still prevail.
His family did not try to dissuade him but their glances spoke volumes.
Ready, a third time, off he strode in haste as he was getting late.
No sooner had he taken a dozen steps, then he almost fell again.
But out of nowhere a hand grasped his hand and steadied him.
"Let me help you" said a distinguished stranger and they walked swiftly & easily to the mosque.
The stranger delivered him safely to the door but then turned away.
"But, aren't you joining us?"
"No, I cannot."
"Who are you, that I may properly express my thanks?"
"I am Satan," the stranger smiled.
"Then why did you help me?"
"Because after you fell the first time & still determined to go pray Allah forgave you all your past sins. When you fell for the second time He forgave your entire family's past sins. I only helped you lest He forgive the entire street & undo all my work."
woh is satan i want know everything about islam can you please tell me any websites or books they teach islam religion i m hindu. but now a days i donnot know why i am interested in Islam......
