Let's start with a rather scathing khabar which is sure to be the start of a new war in showdom. We have it from very reliable sources after her much-trumpeted casting by Farooq Mengal as the lovelorn courtesan- Anarkali, Meera has been given the boot.
Her replacement in the mega budget bonanza is - make a guess - Sana. No Javed Sheikh had nothing to do with it - at least on the face of things it seems so.
It is Meera's irresponsible behaviour that compelled Mr Mengal to sack the dusky dame from Sheikhupura.
Sana, we are told, is taking a lot of interest in the project; unlike Meera she is even studying the legendary character and is said to have been given a date for the prestigious project.
Now that's what we call playing a shrewd hand of cards. Did we just hear a growl?
i would rather have had sadia imam, zara sheikh, or even sara chaudry do this movie. they look elegant. whenever i see sana...i think PUNJABI movie. lol. in my opinion....she won't suit the role. who knows tho...its just a rumour right now, right!?
