first u say we have no clutch players and then u say belfour saved us?! LOL. let me explain something to you: a 'clutch player' is one who steals games for a team, when it matters most, on more than one occassion. case in point, ed belfour.

u obviously don't know your hockey. u know who had the most 3rd period points in the LEAGUE this year, and who holds the nhl record for overtime goals with 13?? its MATS SUNDIN, captain of the MAPLE LEAFS.

you can't get more clutch than that. who do the habs have?! yanic perreault?! HAHAHA!

well we lost the first game.

but in our defense, our team was VERY tired from the last series. we only had 1 day rest, while philly had 4 days rest.

ah well......next game's on sunday!

nice! we finally found our tru game: brute physical play and offensive power!

this team is too proud and too talented to go down that easy. we only lost the first two games cause we were tired and we needed to get used 2 philly. otherwise we outplayed them, and it finally paid off in game 3. can't wait till game 4.

the leafs lost the game 2day 7-2, and they are behind in the series 3 games to 2.

one more loss and we out....

BUT.....this is the LEAFS! we play our best when our backs are against the wall! so insha'allah...we'll pull out 2 more wins and take the series by week's end!!!

we lost. we've been eliminated in the second round.

the sad part is, alot of the players might not return, cause they're old.

i'm so disaponted. we had the best team assembeled since we last won the cup.

yeah, but we wanted to win so badly. the whole city is quiet, and everyone has taken down their flags. its like a ghost town in toronto.

I can't believe it's over; we scored 2 goals in 8 minutes to tie the game in the third period and still lost. Think if Domi had scored that goal in the last minute we would have won the game!

Oh well...you win as a team and loose as a team!

Now for rumours; I hear Jeff Frisen and Joe Sakic are all free agents this yea and so is Paul Kariya. I wonder if the Leafs will get one if not all three!

i would take sakic in a heartbeat, but we all know he won't go ANYWHERE, especially if my boy forsberg retires. colorado will do EVERYTHING they can 2 keep him. so he's outta the picture....

he should have taken as much $$ as he could have from colorado, cause he won't get jack from anyone this time around as a free agent. not after the lousy season he had. lol. so i would not take him...

friesen....not 2 bad. lets see.

the guy i want at ANY cost is, eric lindros. concussion or no concussion - this guy will bleed for this team! he's unrestricted, and he'll come cheap, so he's the guy i would target!
