dear friend
i think likeness is something alittle different , likeness means a person who is near n having respect in ur heart for him,( wether the person is a girl or boy that dosent matter) and love has a little diffrenet concept in love a person may get mad for the other person to whom he love, love havent any limit while in likeness there are some limits ,it mean that if after liking some one they left u so u will feel unhappy but if the person to whom u love from the core of ur heart , they leave u so u will be much n more sad n mad after them for a long period , so this kinda of madness means to love.
may be i m wrong but its my personal experience thats y i m saying so.
