Its not befitting for a true believing girl to wear clothes that are tight, revealing, transparent, to colorful, or resembling men's wear - in the presence of men who are not mehram for her.
Don't listen to aunties, they can't save you from Allah's displeasure - they will disown you on the dreadful day.

The word MECCA means ?Sharab Khaana?

Many people whose name start with Muhammed, write in a short

form as ?Mohd?. This ?Mohd? means ?A dog
which has a big mouth?.

Mecca and Mohd translations are very strange. My understanding:

Mecca - a place that is an important center for a particular activity or that is visited by a great many people
Mohd - not a word in English Language.

I will appreciate if you could please share with us the source of this info.

I ask Allah to save us from the torment of that day and keep us under His protection from his anger. I implore Him to cast us among those who will be saved from the fire and entered in His Jannah and place us in Al-Fidous in the company of righteous and purified dwellers - Ameen

In my humble understanding and view, there are really no similarities between the two except for some cosmetic similarites or just on the surface. Nation of Islam uses the label of Islam to cover and advance its racist agenda. It is a movement that wants to separate itself from so-called dominant "White Christian" race. This concept draws attention of some African Americans because it offers a sort of freedom from dominant culture. It, however, is completly void of Islamic ideology.

yeah but the current issue is lebanon and palestine. While Syrian military was in lebanon, Israel couldn't attack Lebanon without expecting serious resistance. For this day, so much world pressure was exerted on Syria to exit lebanon as to clear the way for Israel to make incursions there at will - and it did.

It isn't a question of large or small sects, the issue at hand is how differences can be bridged?

nikama said:

and the major difference between them is not on religion but on history of arabs after the death of holy prophet p.b.u.h.and to be fear both are wrong in their interpretations of that era.

This makes no sense to me Denominations only occur when there are serious differences in the interpretation of the religion. It doesn't make sense to create division in the people of same faith on the view of history.

nikama said:

khilafat was not a system at all,it was just another name for dictatorship.power game has always been a dirty game.....sigh

You are dead-wrong there... and you are wrong again when you don't think dictatorship is not a system.

I am not a supporter of dictatorship, but it is the way of governance in most places in the world.
Khilafa is not dictatorship - it is balanced between democratic and dictatorial systems.

Again, for differences within sects. History witnessed how a brother of same religion and sect sought help of a common enemy against his own brother. The enemy killed both of them and devoured their weatlh, plundered their honor, and they were forever recorded in history as disgraced.

I dont get paid for being sick bro

I work about 28hours a week. lolz. Im off on fridays.

only for the summer. THe pay sucks...as you already know
the teachers never make enough.

as for the sis thing...

she's one thing that will never change. Her personality and habits are
carved in her. she cant rid herself. Shes the queen!

SHe get on my nerves...still.

NO prob...
sometimes she can be a fav topic to talk about. As I always try to figure
out in my mind what to say to her if she says this.

but its weird.

One time I go to her house she'll be moody and mean

so I try to prepare for next time...

but next time she acts hecka nice for some reason...

then I forget all about my plans to stick up for myself.

weird woman!

I know about teachers pay. I can relate to that very well.

Sis n'law: You are doing a fine job dealing with her. I can't imagine putting up with someone like that day in and day out. I really admire your patience.
