Ironic, I came to this topic bcuz we 'ere talking about prayers and now we are talking about anger and vengence.

Test of Eman is anger. What angers us? personal hurts! we think of ourself too much and when something come in the way, we get upset.
Fasting means curbing anger: "...when someone tries to pick a fight, or say or do annoying things, say: 'I am fasting'". Say it to who? to oneself before anyone else!
Frady, did you pray (after breaking your fast) while you were angry and thinking about SK?
This is what satan wants. you (don't mean Frady only)become Ilah of yourself, you worship yourself, put your desires and passions above Devine orders. Fasting brings you back to senses - detach you from even yourself and relate you to God Almighty.
If we can't leash our anger, we only earned hunger and thirst from it and lost the taqwa and ajar.

Then the person inquired about another lady who was barely doing the required prayers and rituals but she was kind to others and hurt none. prophet (pbuh) said she was belonged to paradise.
Morale is prayers are a condition for piety but without good moral it offers very little. And only being kind wldn't let one in the paradise without prayers.

I'm vry thnkful to Allah for tht.
We've forgotten true spirit of religion.
rituals hv bcom religion. Allah didn't giv us religion. He gav us way of life tht applies to all functions of life. We took only part of it & made it a religion. So we hv religion when we need it (birth, death, wedding etc.) and we don't hv one when we don't need it (like when we cheat others, do business of alcohol, take and give interest, dishonor & disrespect others, injustice to others etc.)
