If it be true that every entrance shadows
somewhere an exit, then it be true that love
is blind. The giving of ourselves up for the
auction of emotions, the owned and owner
mapping the future in the bliss of there
afterglow, penning them in, to the poetry
of joint dreams, where, when they wake
they salute the sun with knowing eyes
but mislead minds. The love they have
is the thawing and freezing of water
in the crack of there passion wall.
I think of things that enter, and see how,
despite , love, taste, or desire, they
always inevitably pass through- like a
circus rolling into town, exciting, thrilling,
pleasuring before rolling on.
The act of love, the eating of food, the
reward of work, all comings of a going.
Last night as I lay like a lost dog denied
of its owners love and trust I whimpered
within- taking note of the clouds-
an advancing arming storming forth
leaving nothing but a smile of thought
and an empty sky.
In the beginning we were full of laughter and cheer,
But now there's only yelling ringing through out my ears,
I wish everyday things were like they used to be,
I still don't get what it is you say you see in me,
You say I'm annoying, that i hurt you and that i make you cry,
So why is it you put up with me even though you say I lie,
I miss the smile you would give when you looked into my eyes,
But now when you look at me all you do is seem to sigh,
i pray everyday that you don't loose your love for me,
And that you'll never loose what it is in me you see,
My biggest fear is to loose you and to be apart,
So you should know that i will always love you with all my heart.
