well to many films are releasing on eid, i dnt understand this mentality of our producers they either dnt release them at all, or release their film at the same time as everyone else.
will it will be a dent for jhoomer if it gets a pirate copy, i expect it to open to good in punjab and win critical acclaim from the press, i hope this doesnt get pirated it will dent it in karachi, and ater so long syed noor seems to have made a good urdu flick.
but this could also mean good news, 3 films going head to head on eid, the press will keep an eye on them surly which will lift the film industry even more, i just hope the films are good, so the people watch all 3, and that will only happen if they are satisfiyed by there first choice.

u are wrong my friend.. they are not banned, the problem is that 80% of the films in india goes big flops. most of the times the movies of establish actors are hit.. the films with new commmers and and unknown actors have 99% of chances of being flop. so the theaters wont risk a paki film to be shown. basically pakis knows everything about indian films/tv but there is exactly opposite case in india, most of the ppl still dont know that pak make films, and so forget about a hit. that was point one, second point is that u have to understand that its not the owner/producer of the film who releases the movie in a given country, the producer only sells its theater/DVD/TV etc rights to the distributers/Tv Channels etc, but here in india u can imagine that no one would be interested in buying the rights of the paki films becoz of there low technical quality and of course unknown actors to india public,
i not just talking about films but film festivals is well, hey have never allowed them to go ahead. and you are wrong dude, cos pakistan punjabi fims are big hits in punjab area in india, they are just banned mate, but indian gov. does not want to make it public.

shoaib monsoor should stop lieing cos everyone knows it was a supreme diesaster in the UK, and maybe he said its successful in pakistan (average not hit)but he didnt tell us that the audience feedback was rubbish

jhoomer is definatly delayed now, syed noor is always known for aggresive promotion, i dnt see this film releasing in 1 week without even a promo airing.

dude, theres more then 3 directors in pakistan, if he was so interedted in making a movie why didnt he just sign up saqib malik who has been waiting so long for a producer and 100 times better then the director of godfather.

For instance KKL promos went on air b4 2 months of its rls so watchin the same promos again and agian ppl wuld have becum a bit bored u see!
not at all, if they bring more and different promos, most bollywood and hollywood films start promotion 2 moths before, if people got bored they wouldnt do it that early

still, they must be showing trailors and promos on other channels, kkl promotion i felt was late is well, they should have promoted the film 2 months before the release date.
ary didnt do good with a few films but they did excellent with ydakh when lollywood was completly dead, with godfather is well, its really aggresive and there releasing the film in uk is well at the same time.

well there is one really rubbish trailor, maybe the one you saw but there is also another trailor which looks really good.

geos promotion is always weird, they dnt promote properly even KKL, only the hype saved it, they should look at ary and learn and let other channels promote it.

i guess godfather will beat MS on eid and have a bigger opening because of higher hype and indian actors, but if MS is good it will probably over take it after. even the promotion for MS is very weak so far, if geo are promoting this film they are doing a bad job and it shouldve started before ramadan, now not much people will switch there tv's on.
