Hi there, it's just me again,
having the same old conversation
we've had a thousand times or more,
but I still get some kinda kick
out of having them one more time.

I just wanted to take the time
to tell you how much I love the way
that you always look straight ahead
but occassionally flick your eyes
and they seem to connect with mine.

And when you laugh, I laugh too.
When you smile, I grin at you,
with nothing to bring me down
from the cloud I'm dancing on.
I've been warned about distance,
and I've been warned of friendship,
and I've been told about family,
and everything else in between...
Somehow none of that seems to matter,
and I just push them away once again.

I dreamt you slayed those old spiders
that always came up with guys before.
Those hauntings are gone, scattered away,
and I know he can't hurt me here anymore...
but if any ever dared to, you'd be there
if you could be in a matter of seconds,
and you'd ward that other evil away.

All my words, they can't say much,
they're bottled up, inexpressed,
and lost in ways I'm unaccustomed to
thanks to the feelings I have for you.
But maybe if I close my eyes and type
and scribble the words on blank pages,
I'll come up with whatever it is that
that I keep trying to say to you.

If I could say all that I feel
the words would bridge the distance
and circle the world a few more times,
but now it amounts to nothing much
save for the repeated verses of songs.
But maybe you've already got it right,

It seems that all we do is wait,

In our world today respect is very rare,
Seems people need much more peace and unity.

Make sure to treat people with love and care,
And less treating others with dreadful brutality.

Stand up and attempt make a point if you dare,
And open up everyone’s eyes to this reality.

Expose all the hate this world has to bare,
And show the world of chaos and calamity.

So, do not just sit with a stoic, blank stare,
Help and unite the world as one identity.



People are flawed, that’s not new information,
But to kill and hate over differences is crazy.

Overcome problems by accepting every nation,
So our children may have eternal serenity.

While, even if there is a difference of opinion,
We should all still get the same love for free.

People hate things that are in different variation,
And they want things similar to how they perceive.

Ignorance isn’t a disability, it’s not taught in school,
It is a choice in your life so what is your plea?

Months ago
--------------


Months ago when we were together;
Promised, will stay for each other.
Shared the laughter and the pain,
three odd friends, with different ways.

People questioned their every way,
saying that its impossible,
for the three to be so compatible.

One fine day, a wave came along,
with no indication that it was, but long.
Washing away all that they built;
Crumbling and sending all back to silt !

Doors
---------


In the hallway void of light
Quivering from eternal fright thousands of doors
So many choices galore
With no idea to which is right

Running my hands along the wall
As if to stop me from my fall
Feeling lost and blind
Seeing nothing through open eyes

Fighting the urges to lash out and scream
Something needs to help me be freed
I don’t want to be lost anymore
I need to find the right door
To wake myself from this horrid dream

Then out from beneath the dark
Light pierced my eyes and cut them sharp
From a single door was a rim of white
And from this rim poured out the light
Making my heart jump with a start

I extended to the knob a shaky hand
Knees so weak I could barely stand
It seems I had come to the end of my trek
So I paused for a second to catch my breath
And stepped through the light filled door and let it slam

On Reflection

I could write exactly what I feel inside but there seems to be little point
I just cannot make a breakthrough
Am struggling and drowning in myself twisting and turning into something awful;
A shadow of the person I used to be
A mirror is just a reflection of the past
